FAQ AND TOS
FAQ
What type of costumes do you make?
I currently mostly offer realistic and semi realistic type of suits so make sure you like the style before commissioning! Please take a look at my gallery to check my previous work! I am always open to new designs and species. I currently do not offer full suits or feetpaws as commissions.
How can I commission a suit?
Please fill an application form under COMMISSIONS tab once commissions are available.
Do you accept payment plans?
Yes, multiple payment options are available for pre-made items that cost over 200 EUR. Please contact me if you wish to know further details. Please note that a down payment of at least 30% of the item’s price is required to initiate a payment plan.
How long does it take to complete a commission?
It takes around 2 weeks for smaller commissions and around a month for heads/partials. Unless requested, I don’t take orders that I cannot complete within a couple of months. The completion time of a suit varies and may depend on the complexity of your fursuit design. A commissioner will be given a preliminary completion date after requesting a quote. I am proud of always delivering my products within a set time interval.
Do you accept trades?
No.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! I am located in Europe but I do ship worldwide. You can choose between regular shipping (10-40 days delivery worldwide) and express shipping (2-7 working days delivery worldwide). I can calculate a preliminary price of commissioned shipping upon request but it might vary slightly depending on the size and weight of your suit at the completion. Larger items, like heads and fullsuits are always shipped via express shipping.
Please be aware there may be customs charges for international buyers – they are the responsibility of a commissioner. Completed suits will only be shipped after receiving full payment. Return shipping for repairs or adjustments will be at the cost of the commissioner.
TOS
REFUSAL OF SERVICE
Crinsy reserves the right to refuse service to any customer based on criteria determined by Crinsy. This includes situations where the customer is rude, threatening, or otherwise unreasonable. Harassment is strictly prohibited. If a customer engages in any form of harassment, Crinsy reserves the right to terminate the project immediately, without prior notice. Furthermore, Crinsy reserves the right to blacklist customers. Blacklisting means denying the individual from any future services.
AGE REQUIREMENT
All customers must be at least 18 years of age to commission a custom fursuit.
However, parents may purchase pre-made suits or suit pieces on behalf of their child.
CONSTRUCTION TIME
The construction process takes around 2 months, unless informed otherwise. Once all the materials are available, I take 2-3 weeks to complete a head or a partial, and around a month for fullsuits. I do not work with deadlines.
Working times are decided by me. I will try to finish your commission as soon as possible. However, if you need the commission by a specific date, it must be commissioned well in advance, and I will let you know if it is feasible.
Not sending your measurements and DTD (duct tape dummy) in a timely manner, not responding to emails or private messages promptly and making changes to designs or add-ons midway through the commission, delays with payments may extend the construction time of your commission.
PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS
I accept payments through PayPal and bank transfers in Euro (€). Please ensure all payments are made in euros.
A retainer fee of 50% of the total cost is required to secure your commission. The commission will only be accepted once this fee is fully paid.
The final product will be shipped only after full payment has been received.
PAYMENT PLANS
I offer flexible payment plans for pre-made items, typically ranging from 2 to 6 payments. If you need a longer plan, we can discuss and accommodate that.
After the initial 30% down payment, you can make monthly installments until the balance is paid off. You can choose your monthly payment date. If you need to postpone payments temporarily, please contact me to discuss the changes. I am willing to work with you to accommodate any issues.
REFUND POLICY
Due to the custom nature of the products, no returns or refunds are offered. I do not offer refunds if you decide to cancel your commission without a valid reason.
Please ensure the commission is within your budget before purchasing! Refunds are only available for fursuits currently in production. No fur or incomplete parts will be shipped to the client if the commission has been canceled.
If you decide to request a refund, I retain at least 50% of the full commission amount as a fee for supplies and communication. This rate increases as I progress further into the construction process. The refund amount will be determined based on the amount of work completed.
FINAL PAYMENT
Once your commission is completed, I will notify you to confirm everything is perfect. You then have three weeks to finalize the payment and cover the shipping costs. If payment is not completed within this time, a holding fee of €50 per week will be charged.
I can hold the suit for a maximum of 3 months. If the final payment is not made within this period, the commission will be canceled, and no refund will be issued.
SHIPPING
Shipping costs are not included in the quoted price of a commissioned item or the original invoice.
Customers will be charged for the cost of shipping and packing materials. Tracking number will be provided electronically upon shipment.
I am not responsible for damage that occurs during transport or lost packages. However, I am willing to work with you to find a solution and remedy the situation. Please contact me with your country and postal code if you wish to know the average shipping rates prior to making a purchase.
It is buyers responsibility to pay any international customs fees and charges. These are usually calculated once the shipment reaches your country. Please be aware of your country’s mailing laws and policies to avoid legal issues.
ALLERGIES
It is the customer’s responsibility to inform Crinsy of any materials they are allergic to.
I have cats and their access to my workshop is limited, but it may still happen. If you are allergic to cats, please let me know or choose another maker. I work in a smoke free environment.
SUIT REPAIRS
Please expect your suit to go through normal wear and tear. If you take proper care of your fursuit, it can last for years. There are times when your suit may need touch-ups or small fixes.
You may contact me at any time you need a repair. I will assess the damage and charge accordingly based on the estimated hours needed to fix the problem. The buyer has to pay for shipping both ways. The buyer is responsible for ensuring the suit is returned in a clean condition.
PHOTOS AND VIDEOS
I reserve the right to use any photography or videos I take of commissioned work for posts on my social accounts and website.
Customers have the right to repost final pictures of their suit at their discretion. However, all other parties do not have the right to repost any of our pictures.
